Commercial & Residential
Developments

Commercial Developments:

Rodeo features a quaint downtown that stretches to the waterfront. Its brick buildings hearken back to another era and give the community its unique character. The major commercial corridors follow Parker and San Pablo Avenues. Quaint residences are closely intertwined with the business community.

Infill opportunities for commercial and small office establishments exist along Parker and San Pablo Avenues where businesses, homes, parks, trails and the marina are intertwined.

Housing

Rodeo boasts a good selection of homes from unique 1930s bungalows to more contemporary dwellings. Many sit on rolling hills that overlook the busy San Pablo Bay. Bay Area home buyers are pleasantly surprised at the price of homes in the Redevelopment Area; they run about 80 percent of the county's average sale price. New construction projects include 50 units of affordable rental housing for seniors as well as the development of 58 single family homes off of Willow Avenue.

Planned Developments & Improvements:

Improvements to both the community at large and the business infrastructure have been funded through tax increment financing in the Rodeo Redevelopment Area. These include a downtown/waterfront improvement program, repaving and utility improvements to portions of Parker and San Pablo Avenues, as well as improvements to Lone Tree Park.
